My smile can return

Once upon a time there was a little girl…it was easy for the world to try and tell her what she should and shouldn’t be, how she should act and even feel. She looked around and saw that there was a lot more going on, that these rules really didn’t apply to her and it was going to be a lifelong journey to do something that she wasn’t quite sure of yet. After enough struggles to tire a small army, a million laughs and quite possibly that many tears, she looked into the mirror and saw the woman that she had become. Her eyes reflected the love and loss of family and friends, the precious births of her children with the echoes of their laughter in her heart and countless lifetimes of her ancestors giving her courage through the roughest times. This woman she saw was not perfect by any means, hell no. Perfect is pretend -but willing to learn, grow and most importantly forgive mistakes is absolutely gorgeous in her book, and I can’t wait to see the rest of her story. This is our story sisters, I sit with you and feel you with me. So much love and thanks, πŸ™πŸ»πŸ’•β€οΈπŸ’•
